Elastomeric bearings shall be made up of multiple laminates of elastomeric material which is separated by steel reinforcing the overall size of the bearings and thickness of laminates are designed according to the requirement of load to be transferred.Bearings having steel plates as reinforcement shall be cast/compressed moulded/vulcanized as a single unit in a mould under pressure and heat.
Testing of Neoprene Elastomeric Bridge Bearings
In House quick production test of all bearings are done at Clients/Representative presence. Tests confirming to IRC 83 Part II/UIC773 .Specifications in accordance with acceptance testing on either level 1 or level II or Shor/Long Durations compression tests up to 800 Tons with horizontal shear up to 100 Tons can be carried out in our facility.
